We often become involved with a project long before a brick is laid. While the planning process can be complicated our clients tell us that by getting involved early and working closely with our nominated architectural designer (who is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) it makes the process much simpler to understand and makes for a better end result.
We have lots of combined past experience with Peterborough City Council and other local authorities and have achieved planning consents on properties in sensitive conservation areas and also on listed buildings where planning policies are quite stringent to preserve their historic nature. This experience will almost always save our clients time and money while achieving a design that will work to create the extra space / accommodation that is required.
